Situated on the shores of Lake Wakatipu on a 65,000 acre high country farm with quintessential South Island lake and mountain views, Blanket Bay is perfectly positioned to experience all this region has to offer. A la Carte dining reflecting Pacific Rim cuisine will be served in one of three dining rooms or outside on a balcony. Whichever you choose all feature huge log burning fireplaces. Finding your way 25 miles of one of New Zealand's most spectacular lakeside drives on a sealed road from Queenstown or twelve minutes by helicopter from Queenstown airport. Accommodation The five guest rooms and three 700 sq ft suites, that have open log fires, all have private bathrooms, super king beds sumptuous sofas and chairs and spectacular lake views from private balconies. Adjacent to the main lodge two chalets house an additional two suites and two staterooms. Facilities o Swimming pool, steam rooms, fully equipped gym, games room, wine cave, speed boat, private jetty and beach complement the exhaustive selection of regional adventures.
