DAY 1: ARRIVE LAKE ROTOROA LODGE

Fly into Nelson and pick up your rental car. Drive to Lake Rotoroa Lodge, situated on the edge of the Nelson Lakes National Park. This fine lodge combines luxurious accommodation with magnificent surroundings. Get settled into the lodge and enjoy the day at leisure. Overnight: Lake Rotoroa Lodge for 3 nights (D)

DAY 2: BROWN TROUT FISHING

Spend the day fishing in one of 40 nearby rivers famous for their trophy brown trout. Enjoy up-stream fly fishing in stunning surroundings as a guide provides transport, equipment, tackle and licenses. (B,L,D)

DAY 3: PREMIER FISHING LOCATIONS

Enjoy fishing in some of New Zealand’s finest waters. The scenic environment and crystal clear streams make this area one of the world’s greatest fly fishing challenges. After a day out fishing, return to the lodge for a delicious dinner overlooking the calm, clear waters of Lake Rotoroa. (B,L,D)
