Kawaha Point Lodge is a beautifully restored family owned retreat offering luxury accommodation on the shores of Lake Rotorua, with commanding views of Rotorua city to Mount Tarawera. Your owner hosts Tony and Margaret will pamper you amongst the luxurious surroundings of antique furniture, persian rugs and local art. The lodge has a renowned reputation for its New Zealand style cuisine prepared by the resident chefs using the finest produce available. Dining is a memorable experience at the antique lodge table or one of the many other private areas in the lodge. Specially selected New Zealand wines are served. We will even prepare the trout you catch. Finding your way Kawaha Point Lodge is on the north entrance to the city. We are only 5 minutes from the city centre, 15 minutes from the airport, all major tourist attractions are nearby. A 2.5 hour drive from Auckland airport, 1 hour drive from Taupo. Rotorua airport is linked to all domestic flights within New Zealand. Accommodation 8 luxuriously appointed suites with king size beds, ensuite bathrooms and air-conditioning. Supporting this luxury is a garden of roses, buxus hedges, outdoor swimming pool, sauna, croquet, petanque and a jetty where you can leave from for catching trophy size rainbow and brown trout.
