THE INTERISLANDER FERRY Cook Strait is the 12-mile-wide stretch of water separating New Zealand’s
North and South Islands. The Interislander ferry cruises between Wellington, New
Zealand’s wonderful harbor capital in the North Island, and Picton, gateway to
Marlborough Sounds in the South Island. The Interislander ferry operates several times daily between Picton and

Maui Car Rental Maui operates a large range of vehicles, all under 18 months old. Branches are located in Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown, close to the airports. Complimentary airport transfers to/ from Christchurch and Auckland Airports on the Maui Shuttle during operating hours. Queenstown branch is located at the airport.
