DAY 1: ARRIVE AUCKLAND

On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight: Auckland, Copthorne Hotel Anzac Avenue (standard), SKYCITY Hotel (first class) or Heritage Hotel (deluxe)

DAY 2: AUCKLAND/WAITOMO/ROTORUA

Leave Auckland early morning. Travel south to Rotorua via the rich pastoral province of Waikato. Enjoy the fascinating Waitomo Caves and experience a guided tour of the famous Glowworm Grotto. Continue on to Rotorua for overnight accommodation. Tonight, enjoy a traditional Maori Hangi (feast) and cultural performance. Overnight: Rotorua, Kingsgate Hotel (standard), Heritage Rotorua (first class) or Millennium Hotel (deluxe) for 2 nights

DAY 3: ROTORUA

Today’s highlights include Rainbow Springs, Te Puia Thermal Reserve’s boiling mud pools and the Maori Arts & Crafts Institute. Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 4: ROTORUA/AUCKLAND

Free leisure time this morning. Later in the day, return to Auckland.
