WALTER PEAK HIGH COUNTRY FARM & VINTAGE CRUISE

Cruise on the historic steamship TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak High Country Farm. Here you can join the farmyard walking tour, which includes dog handling and sheep shearing demonstrations. Wander among the farm animals, including sheep, red deer, and Scottish Highland Cattle. Enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch. Tour is 31/2 hours and departs from Steamer Wharf. Evening tour and dinner also available.

SHOTOVER HELICOMBO

Experience the power and scenic grandeur of Queenstown’s Shotover and Kawarau Rivers. Sit back and brace yourself for the high speed, shallow-water thrill of a jetboat ride with a difference. Take a jetboat ride through the famous Shotover Canyons, then a scenic transfer flight in a helicopter to the summit of the Skyline Gondola. Take in the views high above Queenstown and ride the Gondola Cableway back down to town.

Tour is 2 1/2 hours. Departs daily at 8:30am and 2:00pm.

SAFARI OF THE SCENES

Depart your Queenstown hotel at 8:10am and visit the beautiful scenery that brought the “Lord of the Rings” to life. Visit such places as the Misty Mountains, Isengard, Lothlorien, and Camp of Ithilien better known locally as Glenorchy, Paradise and Mount Aspiring National Park. Return to Queenstown approximately 4 hours later. Afternoon tour also available, or combine both for a full day safari.
