TAMAKI MAORI VILLAGE

Travel by coach to our village approximately 15 minutes south of Rotorua. A traditional welcome ceremony signals entry into the village. At the heart of the village is the meeting house where you will get a glimpse of the tradition, performance and history of the Maori people. Enjoy a traditionally cooked “Hangi” (feast) from earthen ovens, and the lively entertainment from your hosts.

Tour, including dinner, is 4 1/2 hours and departs daily at 4:30pm. Hotel pick-up/drop-off included.

FULL DAY DISCOVER ROTORUA

Visit Rotorua's leading attractions and experience the scenic beauty, history and culture of Rotorua. The first stop is Te Puia Thermal Reserve and the Maori Arts & Crafts Institute. Enjoy a guided tour and see Maori carving and weaving demonstrations. Next, visit Rainbow Springs, a unique showcase of New Zealand’s flora and fauna featuring some of the country’s endangered native species. The Agrodome Farm Show is an experience that will entertain and amuse, giving an animated insight into New Zealand’s farming history. Enjoy guided tours of The Buried Village of Te Wairoa and the Rotorua Museum.

ROTORUA 5-STAR ATTRACTIONS PASS

Designed for those who want to experience the sights of Rotorua at their leisure. At Te Puia, visit Te Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve and experience the best of Maori arts, crafts and culture. See native bush and wildlife including pools filled with Trout at Paradise Valley Springs. Ride the Gondola for magnificent views of Rotorua, and be entertained at the Agrodome Sheep Show. Complete your day by bathing in the relaxing hot mineral spring waters. You can see all attractions in a day, or over more than one day if required.


ROTORUA WANDERER

Depart your hotel and head to Wai-O-Tapu, the thermal wonderland of geysers, mud pools and colorful hot springs. Stroll through the native forest to view the largest hot springs in the world. Continue to Lady Knox Geyser and the Waimango Volcanic Valley. Enjoy a lakeside lunch with New Zealand wine before boarding a 90-minute cruise on Lake Rotomahana. Experience outstanding volcanic scenery and witness a myriad of wildlife and awe inspiring geo thermal steam bursts, bubbling out of the side of the mountains. T

HELLS GATE

Be introduced to New Zealand’s most active geothermal reserve. View the largest hot waterfall in the Southern Hemisphere, the only mud volcano, steaming fumaroles, exploding waters and sulfur deposits. Following your walk, enjoy a 20 minute geothermal mud bath. The mud is suspended in solid form, topped up with sulfurous waters. On completion of the mud bath, soak in the pure sulfurous spa overlooking the geothermal reserve, and enjoy the hot waterfall. You may relax here for as long as you like.

WHITE ISLAND VOLCANO HELI FLIGHT & LANDING

Fly from Rotorua to White Island and experience breathtaking views over the Pacific Ocean. White Island is one of New Zealand’s most active volcanoes, with constant rumblings and large plume of steam. Land on the crater floor and explore this unique lunar landscape. The active volcanic vents, bubbling hot streams and deserted mining ruins create a surreal experience.
