DAY 1: DARWIN—KAKADU NATIONAL PARK

Travel by coach to board the famous Jumping Crocodile cruise. See crocodiles leap from the water. Journey to the East Alligator River region and visit Ubirr, a renowned Aboriginal art site. Overnight: Aurora Kakadu Resort (standard) or Gagudju Crocodile Holiday Inn (superior) (L)

DAY 2: KAKADU—KATHERINEWangi Falls

This morning, visit Nourlangie Rock (home to Aboriginal rock art), the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Center, and Cooinda (home of Yellow Water Billabong). Cruise to observe the crocodiles and prolific birdlife before continuing to Katherine. Overnight: Katherine, All Seasons Katherine (standard and superior) (L)

DAY 3: KATHERINE—DARWIN

Travel to Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge) National Park and join a cruise of this spectacular gorge. Continue to Edith Falls, where there is time for a swim (weather permitting). Overnight: Darwin, Mirambeena Resort (standard) or Darwin Central Hotel (superior)

DAY 4: DARWIN—LITCHFIELD—DARWIN

Drive to Litchfield National Park. Take a short walk at Florence Falls. At Wangi Falls, enjoy a delicious picnic lunch. Return to Darwin at approximately 6:00pm. (L)
